Jain (Deemed-to-be University) shares its vision with the New Education Policy issued by the University Grants Commission (UGC) to conduct Entrance Test for students without formal qualifications desiring to enrol for a degree program.

  • Candidates should be able to follow the English Language as most of our sessions are recorded in English.
  • Applying candidates must have passed 10+2 or any equivalent from a recognized University to enrol for the degree program.
  • Candidates are eligible for admissions on the reason that they pass the entrance test conducted by Jain (Deemed-to-be University).
  • Candidates who have successfully completed their grade 12 examination are exempted from taking up the entrance test.
  • Admissions are confirmed for candidates who are of 18 years or above as on July 1 prior to the year of admission.
  • Attested/notarized photocopies of the last qualifying exam and statement of marks (degree certificate/mark sheet)
  • Attested photo copy of the marriage certificate (if applicable) indicating change in name.
Duration - 3 years
Eligibility
  • Candidates must have qualified 10+2 examination or equivalent from any recognized Central or State Board. A course recognized as equivalent thereto by the University, desirably with the relevant or related subjects of study is also eligible.
  • Admission to the program is based on clearing the Entrance Examination conducted by the University.
  • However, candidates who have successfully completed their grade 12 examination are exempted from the entrance test.
  • Candidate with 18 years as on July 1 prior to the year of admission or above.
Details of Entrance Examination:

Jain (Deemed-to-be University) is aligning itself with the New Education Policy issued by the UGC that allows University to conduct Entrance Test for all such students without formal qualifications desirous to enroll into First Degree.

The said regulation directs that - Admission / Students "No student shall be eligible for admission to the 1st Degree Course through Non-Formal / Distance examination conducted by a Board / University. In case there is no previous academic record, he/she (Students) shall be eligible for admission if, he/she (Students) has passed an entrance test conducted by the University provided that he/she is not below the age of 18 years on 1st of July prior to the year of admission".

What will be the medium of instruction for all programs?

The medium of instruction is English. Hence, candidates are requested to have good English Communication and Comprehension skills.

Are all the programs available in the online format?

The Institution plans to launch all the programs in online format i.e. the student can access the course content online. However, students may have to appear for the exams at the designated exam centers.

Can I take these programs at my own pace or are there any fixed timelines?

You can learn anytime, but the end term examinations and internal assessments should be completed as per the deadlines set by the University.

How do I get to know the detailed syllabus of the program?

It is available in the learning management system (LMS). You can get the subject details of the programs under Academics section.

What is the examination pattern?

Jain (Deemed-to-be University) programs include continuous assessments, home assignments, practical and term exams that include multiple choice and subjective questions.
